Meet Hannah Waff, owner of Speak Volumes Therapy, LLC. She's a licensed speech and language Pathologist specializing in pediatric speech and language delays or disorders. Hannah received her education at Old Dominion University. She's passionate about meeting individualized communication needs through child led and child motivated therapy and sharing knowledge with parents through a coaching model. Involving caregivers optimizes outcomes for children with communication needs. Speak Volumes Therapy works toward providing effective communication for all, despite the challenges, limitations, or differences in how that person communicates. Hannah is a Sensory Trained SLP via Inside Out Sensory Certificate and a NLA trained clinician via Meaningful Speech.

Speech therapy services are provided in our office in City Center of Newport News, VA. Televisits are available when inclement weather/illness occurs or for families requiring prolonged travel to attend sessions in person.

Step 1

If you are unsure if your child needs speech therapy, schedule a free 15 minute consult. This meeting determines if Speak Volumes Therapy is the right fit for your speech therapy needs.

Step 2

Contact your child’s Pediatrician for a referral. Easiest way is to have their office fax the referral to:

Complete intake paperwork. This is a “pre” assessment, so we can spend more time with your child at the evaluation

If your insurance is not listed, contact us! We are glad to look into becoming an in network provider. While you may be unable to bill directly to your insurance, private pay options to include payment plans are available with the opportunity to seek reimbursement from your insurance plan via a “Super Bill”.

The cost of treatment depends on how long you need therapy, the type of therapy, and how often you have sessions. You will learn about the rates during your consultation appointment.

What is a Super Bill?

A super bill is an itemized receipt of paid speech and language services provided by Speak Volumes Therapy, LLC. This bill can be submitted to your insurance for potential full/partial reimbursement of services rendered. Super bills are provided once a month upon request. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and it is important to call your insurance to understand what may or may not be covered/reimbursed, such as a physician referral, diagnosis codes, etc.
